Hello, I am Susan.
I grew up in the wide-open prairies of the mid-west in the United States.
I am of Norwegian and German descent - my great grandfather was born & raised in Akkerhaugen Telemark. I moved to Norway in 2004.
Together with my Norwegian husband Carl, we are raising our 3 children in Porsgrunn Norway.
As a mother of 3, designer, yoga teacher, and female entrepreneur - I have felt at times enormous challenges. Placing high demands on myself professionally and as a mother. Maintaining my own yoga practice and incorporating the tools of yoga into my life is a necessity for clarity, grounding, balance, and inner peace.
I teach yoga because I want to help others feel and experience the benefits that yoga brings.
For me, yoga is so much more than a form of physical fitness.
After attending my first yoga class, I immediately felt a sense of connectedness and was more at ease in my body and mind. Yoga helps me to live authentically, intuitively, and more connected.
Yoga is a practice that infiltrates the way I approach my creative work, the way I live, eat and breathe, and the way I interact with others; my children, husband, and loved ones.
And most importantly - yoga has changed my relationship with myself.
My intention is to teach yoga not as it applies to me, but as it applies to each individual student.
To create a safe space for both new and experienced yoga students to delve deeper into their yoga practice. I have been teaching yoga since 2012.

Here you will find yoga for beginners who are curious to try yoga as well as for yoga students and teachers who have an established practice and are looking for support and community on their yoga path.
