Embodied & Creative Inquiry
A space for transition, integration, insight and growth.
People moving through life transitions, awakening, or returning after burnout often experience old trauma traces or unfinished experiences resurfacing.
Transitions are a natural part of being human – we all pass through periods where identity shifts, reshapes, or seeks new direction. This may occur in an awakening process, when we look deeply into our own patterns and what no longer serves us, or during midlife and menopause, when the body, psyche, and life narrative invite us to release, recalibrate, and find new balance.
The body responds before words arrive. There is not always language for what happens within – only sensations, fragments, impulses, and emotional waves.
This is because the body holds our lived history, and the nervous system is the witness that has registered everything we have experienced. Even when the mind forgets, the body remembers.
In such processes, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Creative inquiry offers a way in that does not require you to retell or analyze your story. The work is body-centered and sensory, using movement, breath, sensation, imagery, sound, symbols, and creative exploration to gently meet what lies beneath the surface – at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
We place strong emphasis on grounding and nervous system regulation, because safety in the body opens the door to insight. As the nervous system settles, it becomes possible to approach fragments of lived experience with greater tolerance. The window of tolerance expands, and what once felt overwhelming can now be met with steadiness and curiosity.
Through creative expression, what was previously incomplete or wordless can take form and direction. The body leads the way: subtle impulses, colors, movements, rhythms, or images help gather the pieces of experience into a more coherent inner landscape.
In this way, experiences are integrated – not by retelling them, but by allowing the body, senses, and imagination to weave them together.
This work opens access to deeper connection with yourself, regulation, meaning – and the quiet wisdom that has always been present beneath the layers of life experience.
In 1:1 sessions, you are invited into a safe, sensory, and creative space where we listen to the body and inner expression. Each session is shaped by what you bring. The process supports inner balance, regulation, and connection to your own inner guidance.
This is not a space for performance, but a gentle journey back to yourself – a spacious pause for self-exploration, integration, and healing, where body, mind, creativity, and soul meet. Online & in Porsgrunn
