Berries & Soul – Full day Retreat: PRESENCE, CONNECTION, AND EXPRESSION

Are you feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, or stressed? Join us for a day of gentle self-care, designed specifically for  women (Norwegian/English speakers) who need to recharge and reconnect with themselves.

Hosted by Berries & Soul, this retreat is co-facilitated by Mona Stenseth & Susan Klein-Holmen. No prior experience in art, yoga, or meditation is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to explore. 

What to Expect:

Gentle Yoga: Susan will guide  you through restorative yoga practices to release tension, calm your mind, and rejuvenate your energy.
​
Mindfulness: You’ll be guided through a soothing meditation session, helping you cultivate inner peace, and a deeper connection to yourself.
​
Delicious Lunch: Enjoy a nourishing, delicious (vegan) lunch designed to comfort and rejuvenate.
​
Berry ritual: We’ll also treat you to a ritual with blueberries and chocolate while we set the intention of the day —indulgent, yet wholesome delights that will feed your body and soul.
​
Expressive Arts: Mona will lead you through a creative art session that invites you to explore your inner world through intuitive painting, drawing, and other forms of artistic expression.
​
Time to Reflect: Throughout the day, we’ll incorporate moments of reflection, mindfulness, and meditation to deepen your connection to your inner self and promote lasting peace.
​
Mindful Connections: Engage in meaningful discussions and activities with like-minded women, fostering a sense of community and support.
​
Who Should Attend: This retreat is perfect for women who are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands and are seeking a peaceful day to rest, reflect, and renew their spirits.

Location: Porsgrunn, Norway (Kosha Yoga Shala before lunch and Atelier MonaStenseth after)

Investment: 2 400,- NOK (Including lunch and tea + ALL supplies)

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, a journal, and an open heart. All art and yoga materials will be provided.

Mona Stenseth is a Norwegian artist/paintress with a deep passion for creativity as a pathway to healing. She believes in the transformative power of art to unlock inner emotions, release stress, and foster self-discovery. Her approach is gentle and intuitive, inviting participants to explore their inner world through various artistic mediums, regardless of their previous experience. Mona’s warm and encouraging presence creates a safe space for self-expression and personal growth.

Susan Klein-Holmen is an American experienced yoga and meditation teacher, dedicated to helping others find balance and peace in their lives. With a holistic approach to well-being, Susan is integrating the practices of yoga and meditation to promote physical relaxation, mental clarity, and emotional resilience. Her calm and compassionate guidance helps participants reconnect with their bodies, quiet their minds, and cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace. Susan´s gift lies in holding space for reflection, healing and growth.

Together, Mona and Susan combine their talents and passions in art and yoga to create nurturing retreats that nourish the mind, body, and soul. Both are dedicated psychotherapy students at NIKUT in the field of Expressive arts therapy – both passionate about creating a nurturing space where you can unwind, explore, and heal.

Their love child «Berries & Soul» is a collaboration rooted in a shared commitment to self-care, creativity, and holistic healing, offering women a unique opportunity to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate.
